钱博士于2015年6月重新加入瑞银集团，任集团中国区总裁和亚太区执行委员会成员，负责瑞银集团在中国主要业务战略的制定和执行，包括投资银行、财富管理、资产管理，和解决方案中心等。2017年任集团中国战略委员会主席，负责协调集团在中国主要业务。2017年12月任瑞银证券总经理、法人代表，2019年10月任瑞银证券董事长、法人代表。
钱博士在国内外银行业拥有逾25年的从业经验，在投资银行和企业银行领域经验丰富。在重返瑞银集团之前，他曾任花旗银行（中国）董事和拟任行长，全面负责企业和投资银行业务以及个人银行业务的战略制定和发展。在花旗集团工作的8年（2007年至2015年），钱博士历任亚太区多个高管职务，包括中国投资银行部联席主管，中国企业和投资银行部联席主管以及中国环球银行部主管等。
钱博士于上世纪90年代初在伦敦加入洛希尔投资银行集团，开始投行职业生涯。1997年至2003年，曾任职于瑞银亚太区投资银行部，负责跨境并购项目的发起和执行，以及亚洲和中国电力/能源公司的资本市场交易和企业融资顾问。2003年至2007年，他任职德意志银行，担任亚洲区（除日本外）自然资源投行部主管，和环球银行业务亚太区执行委员会成员。

Professional Experience
Dr.Qian rejoined UBS in June 2015 as Group President，China and a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee，responsible for the formulation and execution of UBS’s business strategies in China，including Investment Banking， Wealth Management，Asset Management，and Business Solution Center.In 2017，he became Chairman of the Group China Strategy Board，responsible for coordinating all UBS businesses in China.In December 2017，he was appointed President and Legal Representative of UBS Securities Co.Ltd.，and since October 2019 Chairman and Legal Representative of UBS Securities Co. Ltd.
Dr.Qian has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry，and has extensive experience in investment banking and corporate banking in China and abroad.Before rejoining UBS，he was a director and designated President of Citibank （China），where he was responsible for the strategy formulation and development of corporate and investment banking as well as personal banking businesses. During his eight years at Citigroup （2007-2015）， Dr.Qian held various senior executive positions in the Asia-Pacific region， including co-head of China Investment Banking，co-head of Chinese Corporate and Investment Banking，and head of Global Banking，China.
Dr.Qian began his investment banking career in the early 1990s，with N M Rothschild & Sons Limited，the investment bank group，in London.From 1997 to 2003，he worked in the UBS Asia Pacific Investment Banking Department， where he was primarily responsible for initiation and execution of crossborder M&A projects，capital market fundraising and corporate advisory transactions for Asian and Chinese power/energy companies. From 2003 to 2007， he was with Deutsche Bank，as Head of Natural Resources Investment Banking，Asia except Japan，and a member of the Executive Committee of Asia Pacific Global Banking.
Dr.Qian has led numerous domestic and international M&A advisory and capital market financing projects，with a total transaction value in excess of US$100 billion，of which many award-winning landmark transactions，serving clients such as Fortune 500 top multinational companies ，China's leading state-owned and private enterprises.Dr.Qian was named Top 100 expert in 2015 by the Pudong New Area Government.Further recognized as a 2017 Pudong Economic Person of the Year award， and a Top 10 financial star in Lujiazui in 2017.Won Shanghai Financial Sector Leader Award in 2019. Elected as a Supervisor （member of the Board of Supervisors） at the Shanghai Stock Exchange in April 2020.
